Slow Cooker Spiral Ham

Ingredients-

  • 4- 6 lbs. Boneless Spiral Ham 
  • 4 tbsp. of ham stock paste 
  • 2 cups of water
  • Butternut Farms Maple Horseradish Mustard
  • 2 tbsp. of garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. of onion powder
  • 1/2 cup of Vermont Maple Syrup, preferred dark maple syrup for a deeper flavor.  

Instructions-

  1. Combine 4 tablespoons of ham stock paste with water.  Stir until it dissolves and pour into 6.5 (or larger) slow cooker. 
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder and maple syrup to the ham stock, stir.
  3. Rub Butternut Farms Maple Horseradish liberally over the entire spiral ham.  
  4. Nestle the ham into the liquid in the slow cooker.  
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours for a cooked spiral ham, 6-8 hours for an uncooked spiral ham.
  6. Turn ham over every couple of hours.  
  7. For a cooked ham it must reach 140 degrees for an uncooked spiral ham it must reach 160 degrees.
